Rare Lithops Plants - Medium Size 2 Year Old Seedlings for Terrarium

The Super Cute Medium Size ♥ Lithops ♥ (Living Stone Plants), native to South Africa, grow among rocks or soil that match the color of their two succulent leaves. These succulents store water in their fleshy leaves but are not related to cacti. Living stones are small plants, often only 1/2" to 1" in diameter.

The pack of 5 Live Lithops Plants includes a random selection of species with varying patterns and colors. These 2-year-old plants have a height of 1-1.5 inches (from crown to root) and a diameter of 0.6-0.8 inches. The plants will be shipped bare root (unpotted).

Proper watering is crucial for the care of Living Stones. Overwatering is the most common issue. During the cold winter months, water the plants lightly and infrequently, until the days grow longer and the temperature increases. Generally, Lithops do best when watered about once every 2-3 weeks (when not in active growth or flowering). Tap or distilled water can be used.

Lithops require full to very bright sun, either direct or indirect. After repotting, allow 5-7 days for the plant to acclimate to changes in light quality. A window facing West, South, or East should provide the necessary lighting.

A well-draining soil mix is essential for Lithops. A good mix would be 60% soil mix and 40% sand, or 40% peat moss and 60% perlite, to ensure fast drainage.

When the Lithops plants arrive, they may appear dehydrated or wrinkled, which is normal. Follow the included care guide and pot them accordingly. Lithops can be challenging to grow, as they require more attention than other succulents and cacti.

During the Lithops growing season, they may naturally begin to split or crack. This is a natural process, and any scars on the sides or top of the plant are not permanent and will be shed when the Lithops split. These scars do not indicate anything wrong with the plant.
